Fall Fit


FYI fellow Snarkettes: Cozy fall layers are no excuse to let your fitness routine slip. So before you decide to open a calorie-laden bag of chips and send your healthy summer lifestyle on a cold weather vacation, check out my fashionista fitness tips:


  1. Who says fashion and exercise don’t go together? Grab your BFF and head to the mall for a full day of walking and window-shopping. Get a decent work out and try on those playful pumps you’ve been eyeing!

  2. Fight fall flab by putting aside a few hours for a light jog. After school is the perfect time to enjoy the crisp air and catch up with your closest friends. Or skip the school bus and walk home with the girls—the long way!

  3. Not everyone’s a fan of the outdoors, but you don’t have to brave the cold to stay fit. Beat the chill by creating your own home gym. Pull out your old jump rope or grab your stereo and start rocking out to your favorite songs. (Hint: It’s extra fun if you throw on a retro-fabulous leggings and leotard ensemble!)
By staying active you can avoid those holiday pounds and have a head start on swimsuit season. Before you grab your bestie and head to the mall for some fashion and fitness, we all want to know: How do you make exercise fun?
